Step 1
Make Delicious Dough
The key to a great tasting Kolache that’s both good and good for you is the dough. At LeChi Foods, our wheat dough is renowned for being sweet & soft wheat. We only use the very best ingredients to make our signature kolache dough.
Step 2
Proof The Dough
We proof the dough in an industrial sized bread proofer to activate the yeast. During fermentation, the yeast cells in our dough consume carbohydrates and expel the carbon dioxide gas that causes the dough to expand or rise just before we get it ready to bake.
Step 3
Roll The Kolache
Depending on the flavor, we source our ingredients from local vendors to ensure nothing but the highest quality ingredients for the best results. When our dough is finished proofing, we roll the dough with the desired filling and send it over to get baked.
Step 4
Bake The Kolache
In our USDA Inspected facility, we bake our Kalaches until the inside is cooked thoroughly and ready to eat.
Step 5
Let The Kolaches Sit
In order to preserve its shape before freezing and packaging the Kolaches, we let the Kolaches sit in order to let the hot air finish escaping.
Step 6
Quick Freeze
We then stick it in our industrial freezers where we freeze the kolaches before packaging.
Step 7
Packaged In Bulk or Individually
Finally, our tasty Kolaches are packaged in bulk or individually wrapped for your convenience and ready to reheat via microwave or oven.
